The Server Call Story

Reading a firehose of telemetry as if it were a conversation.

An ongoing analytical practice of turning raw traffic and event volumes into short narratives for account and product teams — what changed, what it likely means, and what to do next. The point was to make numbers conversational.

Behavioural telemetry at enterprise scale is enormous and unfriendly. Left alone, it produces charts nobody reads. Translated well, it produces decisions.

Built a small, repeatable format — snapshot, delta, hypothesis, next step — that could be applied to any big month of data. Emphasised plain language over jargon, and always tied a number to a possible action.

Analyses that got read, forwarded, and used in customer conversations — and a personal habit of asking "so what does this actually mean?" that has stayed with every project since.
